We are planning our second trip! Just curious when do they take down Halloween and put up Christmas? Not sure which holiday we want to visit. Which is a better time in terms of crowds? Can't wait to go back to WDW in 2017!

    Hi Misty,

Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel. Usually, one week after Halloween, Magic Kingdom are completely ready with an awesome Christmas decoration. Magic Kingdom is the first to be ready because of the Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Eventually, decorations in other theme parks, resort and at Disney Springs will be ready too. As for the what time is the best to visit WDW, I would have to say at Christmas time. It’s so beautiful, but not at Christmas week. The best, ideal time to visit, for me, is between December 5 to 15. You will be able to see and feel all the magic and the season spirits without the crowds.

    Have fun at WDW!
