When planning out a schedule for our day in the parks, how much time should I budget for our sit-down (in park) meals before booking the next fast pass or planned activity in our day?

    Hi Lisa!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  You are very wise to allow yourself ample time to enjoy a relaxing meal without worrying about missing your next activity. Although the time spent at each Table-Service restaurant can vary depending on the specific location, I have always allowed approximately 60 minutes for a "sit down" meal.  With that being said, even with an Advanced Dining Reservation, you may encounter a small wait before being seated.

For example, if my family has an Advanced Dining Reservation at 11:30 a.m., I wouldn't plan to be at our next activity until at least 1:15 p.m.  However, the great thing about FastPass+ service is you have a 1-hour arrival window, so I would personally schedule FastPass+ selections beginning at 1:00 p.m.

I hope this information is helpful in making the best decision for your family. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to visit us again. Best wishes for a magical trip, Lisa!

    Happy Planning,
