I am planning on running a RunDisney half in the coming months. If I bring my breastfeeding pump and check it with my gEARCheck, is there a place to pump with an outlet after the race? I think I have seen "baby care tents" - whats in there?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Elie! Congrats on your upcoming race; I went to the Walt Disney World Resort Marathon weekend last month with friends and had a great time!

You will find the Baby Care Tent and Care Center area in the race village near the Start/Finish area for each race which will have a chair, changing table and microwave for your use. You’ll certainly have an area to pump before and after the race, but the best place for your pump and cooler of milk will be the gEAR Bag Check. There won’t be refrigerator access, so a few frozen ice packs are a good bet. At your local drugstores, you may be able to find the ones that shake to begin cooling immediately and you won’t have to freeze them overnight (I find the Resort Hotel room freezers aren’t too reliable for that!) When the Digital Event Guide is emailed to you a few weeks before your race (or you can check the runDisney home page for information on your race) you should be able to find the maps that will help you find the areas you are looking for!

If I can help you any further with your magical vacation or perhaps a service like Milk Stork to get your milk home, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
