I am planning on running in princess half marathon. My daughter will be 15 months for the half marathon. Which are best resorts to stay at for the princess half marathon and for 15 month old?

    Hi Yolanda!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

The good news is that every Walt Disney World Resort will be a "host resort" for the Princess Half Marathon, meaning they will all have complimentary bus transportation to and from each race weekend event.  This is a huge benefit!

The first resort that came to my mind was Disney's Art of Animation Resort. This is one of the newer Disney resorts and is considered a Value Resort.  The theming and decor at Art of Animation is simply magical! Your daughter will think she has been transported into her favorite Disney movie!

My other suggestions would be staying at one of the Deluxe Resorts.  The benefit of staying at these, other than their breathtaking beauty, is being closer to the parks. This can come in handy if you want to take an afternoon break for a nap. But, all of the resorts are easy to travel to and from by Disney bus...these are just closer and have more travel options (monorail, ferry, walking, etc.)

I hope these suggestions help!  Please let me know if you have any other questions as you plan for your race.
