Planning on running the Princess 1/2 in Feb. 2013 and want to vacation that week after the run. What is the crowd level and weather usually like the last week in Feb? Thanks!

Hi Carol Ann!  You will love the Princess Half Marathon!  It will be a great way to kick off your vacation!

I checked on touringplans.com and they estimate the crowd levels for that following week to be between a 3 and 5 out of a possible 10.  That is a really great time to go and their estimations are usually spot-on!

The weather in February is usually very nice.  The average high is around 73 and lows around 50.  Keep in mind though, that that can change drastically either way.  So, it's best to keep checking the forecast before you go and pack accordingly.  I think that layers work best.  Sweatshirts and jackets that you can shed and tie around your waist are great!

I hope this helps.  Let me know if I can answer any other questions for you as you prepare for the Princess Half!!  Good luck with your training!
