Hi. I am planning to return to WDW in September next year. I was thinking of booking June 18th. But if I wait till after the new year will the prices be higher (as compared to booking June 18)?

    Hi Dave,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question, my fellow Canadian!

I’m thrilled to hear that you’re planning to return to Walt Disney World Resort in September 2020. From what I understand, if you choose to purchase a Disney Resort Hotel Package the moment that reservations for 2020 open up in a few days, that won’t necessarily be the cheapest price that you’ll be able to get for your Disney Parks vacation. Although, if Theme Park Ticket prices increase, there’s a good chance that your package may go up in cost too, there’s also a good chance that there will be some Special Offers or other promotions that might apply to your vacation dates.

Keep checking the Disney Parks Blog and the Special Offers page in the new year for the most up-to-the minute information. If your dates and choice of Walt Disney World Resort hotel aren’t particularly flexible, then I’d recommend locking in your choices as soon as possible in order to guarantee availability. You should be able to cancel any existing reservations you may have to take advantage of any promotional offers that pop up between now and your vacation dates.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions about your 2020 trip!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
