We are planning a return trip to and are trying to choose a resort. We've stayed at all of the moderate resorts except for Caribbean and are trying to decide whether to return to a Royal Room at Riverside or try something new and go to the Caribbean.

    Hi Andrea,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Choosing a Walt Disney World resort hotel for your next vacation is so much fun! There are so many to choose from, each with its own unique theme. It sounds to me like you enjoy staying at the moderate resorts, so I will focus on those.

I like to try lots of different resorts! Therefore, if I was in your situation, I would give Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort a try. It is a lovely resort with a tropical feel. Since you mentioned that you enjoyed the Royal Guest Rooms at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, perhaps you could check out the Pirate-Themed Rooms at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. These Pirate-Themed Rooms are filled with swashbuckling details!

That said, if you know that your traveling party really enjoys a stay at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, you cannot go wrong there. It is a beautiful resort that your family is already comfortable with!

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Andrea. Please do let us know if you have any further questions while planning your magical vacation!
