Hi, Sarah! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I am so glad to hEAR that you are planning ahead for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. That is a great way to ensure that you get the most magic out of your visit. Think about your family's must-do
attractions and
entertainment offerings, plan out which
theme parks you wish to visit, book your
dining reservations, and make your
FastPass+ selections ahead of time. Then when you arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort, you can just sit back, relax, and enjoy.
When it comes to choosing which parks to visit on which days, that really comes down to personal preference. Some guests swear by crowd calendars that can be found through an online search. Other guests, myself included, prefer to just plan out their trip based on what works best for them without taking into account attendance predictions. Purchasing
theme park tickets that include the Park Hopper option is a great way to give your vacation itinerary a bit of flexibility.
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel guests can take advantage of
Extra Magic Hours in order to spend some extra time in the theme parks. If your tickets have the Park Hopper option, you could attend Extra Magic Hours while having the option to either remain in that park or hop to another based on predicted crowd levels. I personally do not feel one scenario is more beneficial than the other. If you have planned ahead for your FastPass+ selections and must-do attractions, I think you will have a magical time regardless of the predicted crowd levels.
See ya real soon!
Samantha
