    Hi. We are planning to make reservations for the Be Our Guest Restaurant in Oct. 2018 and are wondering if there are any character appearances for any of the meal times? Also, I read that there are changes to the dinner plans/options effective July 2018.

     Dawn, I'm so excited to hear about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation this October. With special events like the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival and Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Autumn is an extra magical time to visit!

     My family loves dining at Be Our Guest Restaurant in Magic Kingdom Park. We've enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and dinner there! The Beast (aka Prince Adam) currently makes an appearance during dinner. When Guests are finished with their meals, they may meet him in the library for a photo opportunity before leaving his enchanted castle! Beginning Friday, July 27, 2018, Be Our Guest Restaurant will introduce a new 3-course, prix fixe dinner menu. At that time, dinner will require two Table-Service entitlements per person for Guests using the Disney Dining Plan. There's been no announcements made about any changes in character appearances for the enhanced dinner experience, but if there are, I bet they'll be posted on the Disney Parks Blog, the best resource for news and updates about Disney destinations. If you make a breakfast, lunch, or dinner reservation at Be Our Guest Restaurant, be sure to try the "Grey Stuff" - it's delicious!
