Hi! I am planning to make a reservation for Be Our Guest for 4, but I'm not sure if one of them will be coming. Would I be able to cancel just that one person's reservation if he is unable to come on the trip? Thank you!

Hiya Fernanda and welcome to planDisney!

Real heroes don't wear capes. They make Advance Dining Reservations. Be Our Guest Restaurant is a fan favorite and if you can grab a reservation there you're definitely a boss. One of my favorite memories is having a meal here right before Magic Kingdom Park closed and leaving the meal to a mostly empty park. It's too bad that your friend isn't sure if he'll be able to join y'all. But I've got a way to be sure you'll win no matter what!

When booking your reservation, I definitely suggest erring on the side of caution and planning as if he's definitely going to be there. It's much easier to remove 1 from your group than add one if the reservations fill up fast. In the event that he can't make it to the magic, you'll simply need to open your My Disney Experience app, tap the three-lined icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen and tap Future Plans. Choose the reservation you'd like to change and tap the icon labeled Modify. Adjust the party size to the desired number and Select an Available Time. Agree to the Guest Policies and tap the green Book Now button and you're all set to try the Grey Stuff. It's delicious!

Pro-tip: Go ahead and make the adjustment as soon as you're sure about your friend to avoid any mishaps.

Fernanda, have the best time on your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back for another chat!

    Happy planning!
