Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Susan!
I am so happy to hear you'll be visiting
Walt Disney World Resort with your precious daughter! Our
Disney Vacation experiences are always so positively memorable with our Autistic teenage son.
Susan, the Guest Assistance Card program was recently modified to the current
Disability Access Service (DAS), which we find so much easier to use, and best of all the (DAS) can be used in conjunction with Disney's
FastPass+ Service.
Cast Members at any Disney Theme Park
Guest Relations will discuss this option for your daughter, so you'll need her and everyone in your travel party with you when there. The Cast Member will ask how many Guests will be accompanying your daughter and add that into the system (restrictions apply). They will take a quick photo of your daughter and then link related information onto everyone's MagicBand or Theme Park Ticket Card. Make sure that you
Link Your Family & Friends to your
My Disney Experience account and go back to Guest Relations when your friends arrive to modify the information stored on your daughter's (DAS).
I love Disney's inclusive efforts and dedication to all Guests through
Services for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities.
Best Disney Wishes!
Jacqueline
