    I am planning on renting an ECV for my father from a Disney featured provider. Will this ECV fit into any of the rooms at the Art of Animation Resort? If it doesn't fit in the room where does it need to be stored? Thanks!

    Hello Amanda, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great planning question.

    I see that you are already planning a great future vacation. I always say it’s never too early to start planning a vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort. My mother has previously used an ECV from a featured provider during her last stay at a value resort. I can say her ECV fit into our room but it was a tight fit. You should not have any trouble with getting it into your room at Disney's Art of Animation Resort.

    I have also used an ECV on my last trip and I have a few personal tips based on my experience. I would suggest that your father use the ECV to get into the room. Once he is in, you can put it in neutral to move it to a spot in the room that is away out of your traffic path and where it can be plugged in to charge. In the morning, when I was ready to leave my room, I had to maneuver the ECV to head out of my room. If your dad is not used to steering an ECV at first, by the second day of your trip he will be a pro. If you find that you are still having trouble with keeping it in your room, a Cast Member will be able to help. I hope that answers your question.
