Kelli from MI Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Planning quick WDW stay at a value resort in Apr '14. Going to MK 1 day. I need to purchase 1 tic for me but hubby has 1 non expired tic from '99 to use. Can hubby's tic be linked to My Disney Experience to hopefully take advantage of Magic Bands/FP+?

Kelli, a quick trip to see Mickey is vastly superior to no trip!

While the MyMagic technology is still in the testing phase, the new system is in flux. Aspects of MagicBands that are valid today, might change next week or by the spring. Since your husband's ticket is well over a decade old, you could have difficulty linking his ticket number to your reservation. The new My Disney Experience might not be able to accommodate a historical number. Try linking your 1999 ticket online yourself. If you don't have success, try calling a Cast Member at 407-934-7639 for assistance. Often older tickets, however, need to be handled in person at Guest Services which is located at all four theme parks and Downtown Disney. At the least, you should be able to link your husbands's 20th century one day pass to a MagicBand once you arrive.

Enjoy your express visit to the most magical place on earth!
