Hey Laura!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so glad that you stopped by with a question for us. I bet you are so excited to be planning a trip to
Walt Disney World Resort with your children AND your best friend. How fun! I'm sure y'all will enjoy that time together and make some wonderful memories.
As a mother of three, I can tell you that there has rarely been a trip that I haven't had my double stroller with me. I'm not sure I would know what to do without it! Since your little one is still so young, I would probably recommend taking your own stroller. The
strollers available for rent at the parks are really intended for children who are a little bigger (in my opinion). So I'm sure you and your sweet baby would be more comfortable with your own stroller, especially if he or she wants to recline and take a little nap. If you don't want to have to travel all that way with your own stroller, you might want to rent a double stroller from one of the Disney Featured Providers. They should have several different types for you to choose from, and you can pick which one will be best for your children. One thing to keep in mind is that there are
new restrictions on the size of double strollers allowed in the parks. So I would definitely verify that your stroller fits within the new policy before your trip gets here.
I hope this helps and please let us know if we can do anything else. We're always happy to help. Have a most magical day!
