We are planning on putting off our vacation a year but my little one will be 10 yrs. old. What is the price difference? Is it only in the tix or the hotel too?

    Hi S,

Thank you for visiting us today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I see you are planning for a magical vacation for next year. Awesome!

I remember some time ago when we took my kids before they turned three years old, so we could save some Disney Dollars, as they did not need Theme Park Tickets, so I do understand your concern. Children aged between 10 and 17 years of age are sometimes described as Disney Juniors. They require adult Theme Park Tickets, and no longer eligible to order meals from children's menus. Disney Resort hotels allow up to two adults 18 or over, in the same room without any additional charges, and children 17 and under, can stay free in the same room as their parents. You may want to visit the Theme Park Tickets page for pricing information.

One last tip: at this time, rates for 2018 have not been published, but hopefully it will happen sometime this spring. Keep an eye to the Disney Parks Blog for announcements, and happy planning!
