Hey, Stephen! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so happy to hear that you'll be headed to
The Most Magical Place on Earth in less than two weeks! I would hardly be able to contain my excitement! I am sure that you are in full packing and planning mode!
It sounds like you have already purchased date-based tickets. You are correct that those do not require park reservations. If you are staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, you can purchase
Lightning Lane Passes (Premier Pass, Multi Pass, and/or Single Pass) beginning at 7 am seven days before your arrival date. Since you have a valid admission for January 16, it will come up as an option the morning of January 9 to purchase your desired Lightning Lane passes for everyone on your reservation. You should see the link for Lightning Lanes at the top of your home screen on the
My Disney Experience App.
Lightning Lanes are such a wonderful way to maximize your time in the parks. My best tip for utilizing Lightning Lane Multi Passes is to try to reserve your first attraction early in the day. That way, as soon as you scan in for your first attraction, you can book another one.
During your visit,
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts will just be getting started. This is an incredible celebration featuring art displays, Broadway performances, and unique food and beverage offerings. The festival is included with your admission to EPCOT.
Disney Parks Blog has more detailed information about some of the performers and artists you can expect to see there, as well as the more than twenty Food Studios!
I hope this helps, Stephen! And it's my wish that you secure Lightning Lane experiences for all of your must-do attractions. I know you are going to make some truly magical memories. If there's anything else we can help with, please come back and see us at planDisney!
