If planning to purchase a dining pkg for world of color and paint the night parade, which option of eating place would you choose and its location for viewing. Why would you choose that. I have a hard time waistline so much time holding spots.

    Hello Alisha!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I hope you are having a magical week!

I’m a big fan of dining packages! A great meal and you get reserved seating for shows. It’s a big hit in our family as my boys would rather grab FASTPASSes for attractions like Radiator Springs Racers and I’d rather see the shows or parades. When we do a dining package it’s win-win for our family.

There are three options for the World of Color Dining Package. Ariel’s Grotto, Carthay Circle Restaurant and Wine Country Trattoria. I prefer Wine Country Trattoria because of the upscale dining with a semi- casual atmosphere if seated outside. You can also view the Pixar Play Parade from the tables along the wall outside if your dining reservations are around the time of the parade.

For the Paint the Night Dining Package, the only participating restaurant is Blue Bayou Restaurant. For either dining package each member in your party will have to order from the special Dining Package menu to receive the voucher with your return time and reserved seating area information. The viewing areas for both are not at the actual restaurants so make sure to have a Cast Member direct you to the reserved section. I would recommend making reservations ahead of time. You can make them 60 days prior to your arrival.

I hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions as you plan your visit!

    See you real soon!
