Planning to purchase 6-day park hopper passes for our family (2 adults & 2 kids). Wanting to go to the parks for a few days and taking a "rest day" to unwind at the hotel and possibly pool, December weather permitting. Will that use up a day

    Hi Suzann,

A Walt Disney World Resort trip in December. It is my family’s favorite time of the year to visit. Wonderful!

Theme Park Tickets are good for 14 days upon the first day of use. The days you visit the parks do not have to be consecutive. You can surely take a day off and enjoy all the resort amenities including the pool. Weather permitting, yes, but did you know that all resort hotel pools are heated all year round to 82 degrees? It may feel chilly at times when you come out, but keep a towel nearby.

An option I would suggest to unwind during December, is to visit some of the other resorts. They really get decked up for the season. And, an option that cannot be missed, is Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Offered during select nights, this is a separate ticketed event, so keep an eye for announcements of dates and when tickets will be available, at the Disney Parks Blog. Act fast, as typically the even does sell out.

December will be among us in no time. In the meantime, if you have any other questions, just come back. We’ll gladly help you out.

    Ricardo.
