Hey David!
Welcome to planDisney! I love hearing about other Guests starting their Happily Ever After at the Most Magical Place on Earth, so thank you for letting me be a tiny part of your fairytale story!
I agree that capturing the moment is a great idea, and that is why I suggest booking a
Capture Your Moment photo session! This is a 20-minute photo session in one of the theme parks with a personal PhotoPass photographer. You can book this by calling the number listed under “
Tours, Recreation.” I recommend sending your loved one away while you check in for your photo session and letting the Cast Member know that you intend to propose during the photo session. That way, the photographer will be prepared to get the best photos of your proposal and reactions! The Cast Member may also have props available to use for photos after your engagement.
If you don’t want to book a Capture Your Moment session, you can find
PhotoPass photographers in various areas of the parks. I still recommend trying to let the photographer know before you propose so they can try to capture the best photos of the occasion.
Whether you are booking a Capture Your Moment session or taking photos with a roaming PhotoPass photographer, I recommend purchasing
Memory Maker so you can download all the photos from your vacation.
I hope this was helpful, David! Bonus tip, if you visit
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort there is usually a PhotoPass photographer on the second floor who has Cinderella’s glass slipper as a photo prop. I think this would be an excellent photo to celebrate the occasion! If you have any more questions, please come back and see us at
planDisney! Best wishes for your proposal!
