    Hi! We are in the planning phase of a Disney Cruise with our grown children and 3 grandchildren ages 8,6, and 10 months. Are baby beds/crib available? We normally bring a pack & play for the baby but he is outgrowing it! Thank you.

    Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Reading your question warmed my heart because we often sail on Disney Cruise Line with my parents! They love spending time with their buccaneer grandson while sailing the high seas. There are so many activities for families to do onboard a Disney Cruise; it truly is the perfect multi-generational vacation!

    I completely understand the need to figure out the sleeping arrangements for the quickly-growing 10-month old baby! Disney Cruise Line has complimentary Pack-n-Play portable cribs for the smallest cruisers to use in their staterooms. If you fear that your grandchild will be too big to sleep comfortably in the Pack-n-Play, I recommend requesting a bed rail for the single sleeper sofa and using that as his/her bed. This is what we did for my son when he outgrew the Pack-n-Play and it worked wonderfully! With more room to stretch out while sleeping snug on the sleeper sofa, he had wonderful nights of sleep while being gently rocked by the ocean.

    Sharon, Disney Cruise Line makes Traveling with Little Ones so easy and fun! One thing I highly recommend requesting is a portable diaper disposal bin for the stateroom your grandchild will be staying in. When you meet your Stateroom Host/Hostess for the first time, you can request one then.
