Hiya Shaun! Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for stopping by with your excellent question. I'm thrilled to assist you! Can you believe your trip to
Walt Disney World Resort is almost here? You are sure to make awesome memories at The Most Magical Place on Earth.
There are many choices when it comes to planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, especially with a large group, so I can understand wanting some additional resources to assist with planning. Though we are unable to book your trip for you, we are the place to help guests plan their most magical trips! Here at planDisney we are the official digital resource for helpful tips, heartfelt advice, and unique insights from real Guests who have mastered the art of planning Disney vacations. Whether you have a question about a theme park, restaurant, service, shop, hotel or activity, we are here to help you get the most out of your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation!
When I start planning, my first step is to jump on the Walt Disney World
website and use the Build Your Vacation tool at the top of the Walt Disney World Resort homepage. There you are able to enter your vacation dates, total number of adults and children (if any) in your party and you can search all resorts or just one if you have a favorite. You are then able to see the cost per night and can select the package option if you'd like. The page will then populate the total cost of resort and tickets. Before checking out, you'll be able to select a base ticket or the
Park Hopper Option!
When my sisters and I travel with our families (15+ people) we often need multiple rooms. In order to reserve multiple rooms, they will need to be booked separately as each room will require its own reservation. One option to do this is to use the Build Your Vacation tool. Once you've completed your first booking, repeat the steps and book your second room. When I have done this in the past, I find the easiest and most convenient way to book is to call
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations and have a Cast Member book multiple rooms then link your reservations together. I would also request that your rooms be adjoining (rooms’ right next door) or connecting (inside door that connects both rooms). Though Cast Members do their best to accommodate guests requests when rooms are assigned, they are not guaranteed. With a group of your size, you could also explore some of the suite options at the hotels if that is a good fit for your family! Our favorite is the Cars suite at
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort!
Once you have your theme park tickets and resort hotel, I would suggest linking them all in the
My Disney Experience app. I would also suggest that everyone in your party create their own My Disney Experience account, if they haven't already, then adding them to your
Friends & Family list. I would then suggest connecting your account with the account of everyone in your party on their own devices. That way you will still be able to access all your plans, from your own account but still be able to share plans and tickets.
I hope you find this information helpful, Shaun. Please visit us again at planDisney and
I will gladly help you with any part of your trip. Have a magical day!
