Welcome to planDisney, Etay! You're just days away from your Walt Disney World vacation, and I couldn't be more excited for you. Time is of the essence, so let's get straight to your question!
If you asked me to choose a favorite Disney World park, I couldn't give you an answer. They're all so magical, so beautiful, and most importantly, so unique! That's why I'm thrilled to hear that you'll be visiting ALL of them on your upcoming trip! Etay, the order in which you visit the parks is a matter of personal preference. But deciding on an itinerary can feel a bit overwhelming, so let's see if I can channel my inner Jiminy Cricket and offer you some guidance!
Whenever I visit Disney World, I like to kick things off at Magic Kingdom Park. This iconic park offers plenty of charm and TONS of nostalgia! On Day 1, snap photos in front of Cinderella Castle and ride classic attractions like Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan's Flight, and Pirates of the Caribbean. Grab a DOLE Whip at Sunshine Tree Terrace, and end your day with the Happily Ever After fireworks!
On Day 2, head to EPCOT, where you'll explore the wonders of World Showcase and indulge your senses at the
2026 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. This fan-favorite festival can bring heavier crowds on weekends, so you'll avoid the rush by visiting on a Thursday. Don't forget to check out my absolute FAVORITE thrill ride, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind!
On Day 3, arrive bright and early at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park, and head straight to Kilimanjaro Safaris. In my experience, the animals tend to be most active in the morning, making this the perfect time to ride! Next, explore Pandora - The World of Avatar, and ride your own banshee on Avatar Flight of Passage. For lunch, use your My Disney Experience app to join the walk-up waitlist at my favorite hidden gem,
Nomad Lounge. It's a restful place to grab a cocktail, a bite, and some pretty incredible churros. Be aware that Animal Kingdom closes earlier than other parks, so if you've purchased the
Park Hopper ticket option, this is a good day to hop to another park for the evening.
After a well-earned break on Day 4, you'll be ready for a full day of fun at Disney's Hollywood Studios! On Day 5, purchase a
Lightning Lane Single Pass for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance to maximize your time, and spend the rest of the day enjoying the park's food, attractions, and shows. For an extra magical send-off, end your evening with
Fantasmic! On your final day, enjoy a return trip to your favorite park. As Jiminy Cricket would tell you, "Let your conscience be your guide!" I hope this information is helpful, Etay, and that your visit is filled with magical memories! If you have any other planning questions, you know where to find me right here at planDisney!
Magic awaits,
Allison
