We are planning on parking at the Boardwalk Inn and taking the boat to Epcot's World Showcase. It says online the website that there is limited parking at the hotel. If we arrive early enough, is this a very good idea?

Hi Christopher! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Only THREE more days until your magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! Hooray! You are arriving just in time to experience the beautiful Christmas decorations that are gradually appearing all around the theme parks and Disney Resort hotels. I love this time of year!

Parking at all Disney Resort hotels, including Disney's BoardWalk Inn, is reserved for Guests staying at that specific Disney Resort hotel. The exception to this is for Guests that are dining at the hotel and then parking is limited to a maximum of three (3) hours. Since it does not sound like you are staying at Disney's BoardWalk Inn or dining there, you will need to park your car in Epcot's parking lot to access Epcot.

Once in Epcot, you can certainly exit the back entrance of Epcot (called the International Gateway) to explore Disney's BoardWalk. It really comes alive at night with entertainment and delicious dining options, so that would be a great time to visit! Just make sure to enter Epcot again prior to the theme park's closing time in order to make your way back to your vehicle in the Epcot parking lot.

Enjoy every moment of your vacation, Christopher! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
