As I am planning which park to visit on which day, I was wondering why the Magic Kingdom parade is at 5:00 PM on April 4, 2020 instead of 3:00 PM. Is there something special scheduled for that day at MK? Thank you.

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

It sounds like we have a lot in common because I think it's never too early to start planning what I want to do on my Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Even though some things, like Theme Park hours and showtimes, are not set in stone quite yet, it's always a great idea to begin early when it comes to making an outline for what your trip will look like.

I had a look at the calendar and you're right, it appears as though the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade is happening at 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, 2020, at Magic Kingdom Park. At the moment, we don't know of any special events happening that day or any reason why the Parade might have been pushed a little later. Timings for these kinds of things are subject to change at any time, so I recommend planning your day with the information you have now. The Parade may stay at 5 p.m. or it's possible that it may return to its normal 3 p.m. time slot, so I recommend keeping an eye on the calendar as well as the My Disney Experience app in the months and weeks leading up to your vacation so you can have the most up-to-the-minute information when it's time to leave for your trip.

    Have a magical day, Eileen!
