Hello! We planning a park hopping day between Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Will be using rope drop via IG and LLMP. Planning also on using. Single rider r Line at Remy and new Test Tract. Which park to start with?

    Hi, Gurpreet! Welcome to planDisney.

Park hopping between EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios is one of my favorite ways to spend a day. It’s super easy thanks to the walking path, Friendship Boats, and the Disney Skyliner. And both parks are packed with some of my favorite attractions. Whether you’re sipping around the World Showcase or hiding from stormtroopers in Batuu, it’s a day full of variety and fun.

Entering via the International Gateway and rope dropping EPCOT sounds “practically perfect.” That entrance puts you right next to Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, which is perfect for an early single rider run whilst crowds are low. From there, you can knock out Test Track, grab a snack or two, then hop to Disney’s Hollywood Studios when the timing feels right. Lightning Lane Multi Pass will help you make selection times for some of the “heavier hitters” (e.g. Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway) for later in the day when the park tends to be busier anyway.

Keep an eye on posted wait times, but also don’t forget to check walking paths. If the Disney Skyliner line is long, it might be faster to take the 15-minute walk between the parks. I’m always trying to add to my daily step count, and so walking is always an enticing option for me.
