If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you can purchase your
Lightning Lanes seven days before your check-in date, starting at 7 a.m. EST, through the
My Disney Experience app. Once you start your Multi Pass purchase, you will need to select all three attractions for your first park.
Lightning Lane Multi Pass operates on a "use one, get one" system. This means that after you use your first pass at your initial park, you can select another Lightning Lane at any other park if you have a theme park ticket with the
Park Hopper Option. For example, I recently visited EPCOT and planned to go to Magic Kingdom in the evening. After using my first pass at EPCOT for
Frozen Ever After, I was able to book the
Haunted Mansion at Magic Kingdom.
Julie, I am always looking for the best value for my purchases. I like to book my Lightning Lanes as early in the day as possible, so I'll have more opportunities to book others later. Another helpful tip in using Lightning Lanes is to keep checking your My Disney Experience app. You have the ability to modify your plans, and you'll often find that new ride times become available throughout the day.
