Hey there Anissa,
Welcome back to planDisney and thank you so much for your question! I'm thrilled to hear that you're planning on taking your little Mouseketeer to
Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party later this year.
I did a Father/Son trip to this special event last year with my little guy and we had so much fun. In fact, he was dressed as his favorite superhero - Spider-Man! According to the
Dress Code FAQ page under the "For Guests Ages 13 and Under" section, it says that "costumes and some masks may be worn, as long as the mask does not cover the entire face and eyes are visible."
Ultimately, this will be a call that the Cast Members at the entry gates will make, so make sure to follow their instructions - they work hard to make sure these events are safe for everyone! You could certainly bring the mask with you and ask a Cast Member when you arrive, but having some place to store the mask would be helpful if it is determined that it falls outside of the special event rules.
In the meantime, keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for more information about this year's event! I would anticipate hearing more in the next month or so. When my son and I visited last year, we were so excited to see that Yokai was one of the treat trail characters! My family and I love Big Hero 6, so it was really cool to see him at the event.
Thanks again for your question, Anissa! I hope you have a wonderful time visiting the Happiest Place on Earth later this year.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
