Hello! Planning a one week visit with two teens this summer; between June 26 and Sept 5. Which is the best time crowd and weather wise? Is there a big weather difference (heat, rain) between July and August? Thinking about end of August: good? Thanks!

    Maria:

The average monthly temperature calculator at www.weather.com confirmed what I've thought: July and August both tend to be the hottest months in Orlando...and because hurricane season begins June 1 and continues on to November, your rain chances (and system chances) are probably similar, too.

So that leaves us with crowds to break the tie. Hands-down, if you are looking to go at the end of August, you will encounter smaller crowds as many schools in the South are back in school by early to mid-August which decreases attendance considerably in comparison to July.

So, yes, the end of August is your best pick!

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
