Bongo's at Downtown Disney to me is nice, but I wouldn't say the preferred place to bring your 4 year old. The atmosphere is more of a mature audience, and, in some ways, feels like you're in a night club. For a night with you and partner, I would say it's a great place to be, but I wouldn't qualify it as a family setting.
If you go with the kids, go daytime; if with your significant other, definitely nights!
