We are planning a one day visit to Magic Kingdom for two 2 year old boys this July. We are not staying on Disney property, unfortunately, but plan to be at the park at rope drop. Any recommendations on how to rest/relax midday?

    Hi Joanne!

Aw! It sounds like you are planning a "two-riffic" time this July. Although returning to an on-property resort can be a nice afternoon break, there are other wonderful ways to take a necessary refresher. First, the Baby Care Centers are a fantastic place to take a little time out of your busy day. They are fully equipped with everything you might need to change, feed or entertain the little ones for a few minutes. Another one of my favorite nap time spots (and anytime spots) is the Walt Disney World Railroad. Its smooth and steady chugging seems to have much the same effect as a car ride on my little ones. Each lap around Magic Kingdom Park is around 20 minutes, so after a few of these relaxing loops, the kids (and my feet) have had a nice rest. There are also lots of shady spots to wheel the stroller and take a break. We usually pack a stroller fan for our vacation to make sure they have a nice breeze and will sometimes just find a quiet area of the park to enjoy. It is possible to find a spot, but if it's a particularly busy day you can take the monorail to one of the monorail resorts and enjoy a seat in the lobby or a stroll around the grounds.

Have an incredible vacation, Joanne! Please let me know if there is anything else I may assist you with.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren
