Hi! We are planning a one day hopper for my son and his three friends. Are we able to go freely from park to park Throughout the day?

    Hey Cara!

    Welcome to planDisney!

Let the planning begin! Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park have begun welcoming guests back and the Magic of the theme parks is stronger than ever! I was lucky enough to be able to attend opening day and it was amazing! My best tip is to make sure you download the latest version of the Disneyland Mobile App before you arrive at the theme parks. You’ll need it for things like your tickets, checking wait times on attractions, Mobile Order and getting a Boarding Pass for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance! Your first opportunity is at 7:00am but if you miss out at that time you can try again at 12:00pm.

Park hopping is a breeze at the Disneyland Resort. You will start your day at whatever park you choose when you make your theme park reservation. Let’s say you chose to start at Disneyland Park. You’ll have to wait until 1:00pm before you can head over to Disney California Adventure Park. But after that, you are free to go back and forth as you wish as long as the park isn’t at capacity. Make sure you hit those must do attractions first thing before 1pm because I did notice that popular attractions became busier once guests were allowed to hop between parks.

Well Cara, you guys will be park hopping in no time!

Remember, always believe in the Magic!
