Hi Virginia!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I always thoroughly recommend scheduling a relaxation day during a busy and exciting vacation at Walt Disney World. We all need a little break to recharge, before we head back to all the fun again.
Disney Springs is somewhere I really enjoy visiting to spend some "me time" - it's so nice to wander around the huge variety of shops, take time to sit and relax with a coffee and watch the world go by, and then take advantage of sampling some delicious food at
one of the many restaurants there. Follow this with some pool time at your Disney Resort hotel, and you will be all set to head back to everything that the theme parks can offer you, whether that will be watching the fireworks that same evening or you want to be awake, refreshed and ready, for an early start the next morning. Every Disney Resort hotel has a Recreation Calendar, which you will collect at check-in. Every day they will offer different activities, but for example, the schedule for March for
Disney's Contemporary Resort includes a pool party around 3pm (most days), Trivia Challenge, Dance Party, Mickey Tie-Dye, which are all held
poolside (so you can relax some more while watching your children being entertained!), and then into the evening there is Campfire & S'mores, and Movie Under the Stars. Your family will be spoiled for choice!
Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World.
