    We are planning our Oct. trip to Disney. We are wondering what would be the best way to watch Wishes with two kids ages 4 and 1. Would it be best to watch in front of the castle or book Pirates and Pals? Or would it be better to watch from Narcoossee's.

    My family and I just returned from our most recent Disney adventure, and I'm happy to report that we had the opportunity to experience the Pirate and Pals Fireworks Voyage on our trip along with Disney Moms Margaret, Beth and their families.  We had a great time meeting with Captain Hook and his pals in an adorable pre-cruise reception stocked with sweets (cookies, brownies), cotton candy, gold coins and other confections, non-alcoholic beverages, and super cool pirate bandanas.  We boarded our boat at the Contemporary and "headed out to sea" for a prime viewing spot of Wishes.  Along the way we were entertained by a hysterically-funny cast member (a.k.a., our very own pirate!) who played games with the crowd and gave away fabulous prizes to the kids on board.  My boys loved the experience, and I would highly recommend it for any pirate and fireworks-loving family.  Our night ended with a visit from Peter Pan when we landed at the dock.

    Watching Wishes from the Castle Hub on Main Street is truly a magical experience.  As you can imagine, the view is amazing, and watching Tinkerbell descend from Cinderella Castle is incredible.  It does get very crowded, however, and the fireworks are loud so close to the action.  If these factors would upset your small children, you might consider a less intense viewing area.

    Narcoose's is a fantastic restaurant, and a well-timed meal will enable you to view the fireworks without the crowds, and with the music piped directly into the restaurant.  I'd have a hard time convincing my kids to hold off on dinner until that late in the evening, but if you can do it with your kids (or feed them before) this is a great option as well.

    Finally, any of the beaches at the resorts on the monorail line afford a wonderful, low-key way to see the show.
