Planning for November 15-22nd - wondering if it is typical to have good swimming weather in November? We are coming from Canada and find weather in the mid-70's is great for our kids and swimming. Can I find a life vest at the "quiet pools"? Th

    Hi there Cynthia!

Thanks so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!
As a Canadian myself, I'm so happy to tell you that my family has enjoyed swimming at Walt Disney World's fabulous resort pools in November many times - as well as in December and even January! The temperature is most often in the high 70's if not 80's in November. As an added bonus, many of the resort pools are heated to a comfortable temperature (82 degrees) such that guests can enjoy taking a dip year-round!

You'll find complimentary life jackets at all of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels and Water Parks. At the resorts, life jackets are usually located by the feature pool area - however you are certainly welcome to borrow one and take it over to a quiet pool area of your choosing. If the resort you're staying at has a marina, you'll find an additional supply of life jackets in bins along the docks.

If you have a floatation device from home that your children enjoy using, you're more than welcome to bring that along if it fits in your luggage. You'll also find water wings available for sale in Resort Gift Shops and some resorts even sell 'pool noodles.'

I hope this information is helpful to you Cynthia!
Please feel free to write me back if you have additional questions. I've visited Walt Disney World many times in late November and early December (my favourite time of year to visit in fact!) and would be more than happy to share tips and recommendations with you.

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World!
