We are planning on going in November, but some situations have popped up and we may have to go at a later time. Can we change the dates?

Hi there, Madison! Welcome to planDisney!

Oh, bummer, Madison! I am so sorry to hear that your Walt Disney World Resort vacation might need to be postponed. If you ask me, there really is never a wrong time to visit Walt Disney World, so you’re bound to have an incredible vacation whenever you can get there. If you do end up rescheduling for any time before March 31st, 2023, you will still get to be a part of Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary Celebration. There is so much to enjoy during The World's Most Magical Celebration, including the stunning Beacons of Magic throughout all four theme parks. You'll love how the legendary theme park icons have been transformed into EARIdescent wonders of light and color. They really take your breath away!

Now, you may be able to change your reservation super easily online via your My Disney Experience account. Simply head over to the Walt Disney World Website, and click on the My Disney Experience logo in the upper right corner to log in. Once logged in, hover over that same logo and click on “My Plans.” From there, scroll down until you see your vacation plans. Next, look to the right-hand side for a blue “Modify Reservation” button, and click on that to change your dates. If you don’t see this option, worry not, Madison! That just means you will need to call the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations team at (407) 939-1936 to change your reservation. They will be happy to help take care of this for you!

I do want to note that should your new dates have a different cost, you would need to pay the difference for any additional costs.

I just want to quickly remind you to secure your new Theme Park Reservations after you adjust the dates of your reservation. As a reminder, you will need to make a reservation for the first park you plan to visit each day. Then, if you have added the Park Hopper Option to your ticket, you can hop over to another park after 2 p.m. each afternoon. Some dates do get booked up, so I recommend securing your Theme Park Reservations are early as possible to make sure you can enjoy all the parks you were hoping to visit.

The fun never stops at Walt Disney World, so I promise you will have an absolutely wonderful vacation whenever you can make it. Once you have your dates finalized, I would love to tell you about any events or exciting new offerings available during your visit. So, feel free to write me again, as I would love to help make your vacation as magical as possible!

    Have a fabulous day!
