Hi! , planning on going in November when there is lower crowd but wondering how much the parks change with the Christmas celebrations? Do they still do a lot of their regular shows? Fireworks etc?thank you

    Hi Robin!

Planning a November visit is a great time for a Walt Disney World vacation. The weather is usually almost perfect and the crowds are not bad unless you plan for a Thanksgiving week trip. This week has become a very popular time for family trips.

November is a transition month when the parks go from Halloween decor to their Christmas decorations. The Magic Kingdom is the first park to change over due to their special event parties. You can’t have a Very Merry Christmas Party without some Christmas flavor. During these special parties you will have the different castle shows and fireworks.

Epcot’s Illuminations: Reflections of Earth will remain the same until just after Thanksgiving. The Animal Kingdom’s Rivers of Life also is the same. Hollywood Studios generally will not start their Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam! show until later in the month.

November is kind of a month where you can find a bit of everything....normal shows or some of the holiday shows. Guests can have a wonderful time as they also make the transition into the holiday time!
