Hi Christopher,
Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. A nine-night trip to Walt Disney World sounds wonderful! Whether you are staying at
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside or
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, you have chosen a great resort. Both are lovely and relaxing.
To my knowledge, a
Disney Dining Plan is always tied to the number of nights that you are staying at your resort rather than your theme park tickets. In your example, you will receive nine nights of dining credits. There are many locations outside of the theme parks, such as at resorts and the newly re-imagined
Disney Springs, that accept dining plan credits. Be sure to explore all of these great options for dining! From the Disney Dining Plan link that I provided, you can download a list of all of the restaurants that will accept your dining plan and begin to make dining reservations. You can make
Walt Disney World dining reservations online or call 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463) to do so.
I do suggest that you call your travel agent or Disney at 407-939-5277 to confirm the details of your specific package.
I hope that this information is helpful for you, Christopher. Have a great time planning your magical vacation, and please do let us know if you have any further questions.
