I am planning a 6 night stay. Because of a late arrival we only need a dining plan for 5 days. Can we do this?

    Hi, Lauri!

The Disney Dining Plan is based on your number of nights, so your credits will be based on 6 nights regardless of your arrival time.

There is so much flexibility with the Dining Plan, you should have no trouble using up your credits.  Indulge in a Signature Dining dinner which uses 2 credits.  California Grill, Le Cellier, or Yachtsman are all amazing.   Another 2 credit meal would be a fun dinner show like the Hoop Dee Doo Revue.  Tons of food and fun!

You can also use your credits on your departure day.  Plan a fun breakfast at 'Ohana or Chef Mickey's.  What a great way to end a vacation!  If you find you have extra snack credits at the end, pick up some snack-sized bags of Chip and Dale pretzels or Mickey Cheese Crackers for lunch boxes at home or they make great souvenirs for teachers or grandparents!

I think you will find that with so many great dining options, you will be fine using up your credits.  If you need dining suggestions, let me know.  Just make sure to make your dining reservations ahead of time to make the most of your dining plan credits.  Enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
