Hello there, Nathalie!
Welcome aboard and thanks for your question! I'm so excited you have a cruise to look forward to. Planning is half the fun!
I did a little treasure hunting and discovered that
pirates are currently planning to take over the second night on your itinerary! While local and maritime regulations around this itinerary require that our scurvy friends leave their fireworks at home, there will be plenty of activities to enjoy such as trivia, character greetings, a special menu, and a party on deck. It's the perfect night to wear a little (or a lot) of your favorite pirate gear!
As for other characters, don't worry! Our pals are always eager to sail along with guests and you'll be able to
meet characters onboard many times each day. Some character opportunities require a complimentary ticket, such as the Princess Gathering. You can reserve a spot by visiting the
My Cruise Activities page within your
advance booking window. But there are many character opportunities that don't require a reservation! Just use the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App when you're onboard to see where our magical friends will be waiting for hugs and high-fives. Characters might also visit the kid clubs (adults are only allowed to visit during open house hours) for activities. There's plenty of magic to go around!
Of course, you can always see characters at deck parties and evening shows! All the entertainment onboard is fantastic, but I especially love
"Beauty and the Beast" on the Disney Dream. The creativity of this version of the show is spectacular!
Your cruise might be short, Nathalie, but I know every minute will be filled with pixie dust! Hopefully this voyage is just the beginning of many future adventures.
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
