We are planning a 3 night Bahama cruise and wanted to stay at the resort too. How early can you board the ship if the itinerary says 4:30? Also, what is the latest to leave if it docks at 7:30am? Thanks!!

    Hi Mindy,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  I've always felt that combining a Walt Disney World vacation with a Disney Cruise is the ULTIMATE way to vacation!

The terminal typically opens around 10:30 a.m. and the boarding process is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.  I will tell you that in all my Disney cruising experiences I have been on the ship before noon.  They always do their best to begin the boarding process as early as possible.  One thing to keep in mind is that although you may be permitted to board earlier than 1:00 p.m., your stateroom probably won't be ready early - so plan on keeping your carry-on's with you.

Once you return to Port Canaveral, disembarkation begins around 7:30 a.m. and all guests are asked to leave the ship by 9:30 a.m. as they need to prepare for the next group of guests boarding later that day.

    I hope this helps!
