Hi! I am planning to have a nice trip from January 3rd to 10th, so I was wondering if by that time the Christmas decoration will be there still.. my sister and I have never seen the park with them, so we are looking forward to experience the magic!

    Hello Fernanda,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you so much for asking us a question the Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort!

Visiting Walt Disney World Resort around Christmas is an amazing treat because of the extra layer of Magic everywhere due to its fabulous Holiday decorations. I’ve visited several times during the week immediately after Christmas/New Year’s Day and I’m pleased to report that the Theme Parks retained their holiday cheer during that week, although the Walt Disney World Resort hotels (and their magnificent Christmas trees) were often put away during that week. That being said, you should still find plenty of seasonal cheer in the Theme Parks, and especially at Magic Kingdom Park, when you first arrive for your holidays on January 3rd, but please don’t be surprised if they start to disappear during your visit…

I hope my answer helps you plan a wonderful vacation this January. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
