I am planning our next visit to FW Campsites in Sept. My DW wants to stay away from the "action" yet near the comfort stations. Any suggestions on what loops to ask for?

    Robert:

    Hello to a fellow Mississippian!

It sounds like your wife would like one of the more quiet loops of Fort Wilderness like the full hook ups of 1600, 1700, 1800, or 1900. Because only one comfort station serves these loops, when you make your full hook-up reservation (that guarantees you'll be in this area away from the "action") make sure to include that you'd like to be near the comfort station. Keep in mind, though, that because the comfort station is centrally located between these four loops, the closer you are to it, the closer you are to the main road off which each of these loops begins. That means a little more traffic noise. Personally, 1900 is a little too quiet (meaning too dark/too scary at night) for me, and 1600 and 1700 can include a little bus "noise" if you're on their outer legs, making 1800 my pick for one of the most quiet loops if you want to include a preference on your reservation.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
