I am planning my next trip to WDW for Spring 2015. At the time, my girls will be 4 and 7. Which resort to you recommend, Art of Animation or Caribbean Beach Resort?

    Hi Kristy!

Caribbean Beach Resort and the Art of Animation Resort are completely different and each have their own perks.  We loved our stay at Caribbean Beach Resort last year, but mostly because of the pool.  I have two water babies (2 and 5) and the pool is awesome.  We were in a pirate room, which was quite a distance from the mail pool.  Transportation around the resort can be frustrating at times since the resort is so large.  We ended up walking everywhere, but it took a long time.

I really love the Art of Animation Resort.  We have stayed in a Little Mermaid standard room as well as a Lion King suite.  My kids prefer this resort because they love seeing their favorite characters sky high near the buildings.  Each section is beautifully themed and each section has its own pool.  The Big Blue Pool is also great with a zero entry entrance and small splash zone.  There is only one bus pick up area, which isn't too far from any of the buildings.

If this trip isn't a surprise, show your kids pictures of each resort and let them choose which one they would like.  You can't go wrong with either!

    Have a magical day!
