Hi there. We are planning our next trip to WDW and would love to stay at the Caribbean Beach Resort but my youngest is scared of skeletons. We know to avoid the pirate themed rooms but can you tell me if skull and cross bones are a theme for this resort?

    Hi, there!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Karen. We're so pleased to hear you're planning another visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is one of my family's favorite Disney Resort hotels. My husband and I appreciate the laidback, island vibe and my kids can't get enough of the Fuentes del Morro Pool. We also love that our family of five can be comfortably and affordably accommodated in the 5th Sleeper Rooms!

I completely sympathize with your concern. Aside from the Pirate Rooms, I believe the only other place you'll see a skull and crossbones symbol at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is at the Fuentes del Morro Water Play Area. This pirate-themed splash zone designed just for children under 48" features at least two skull and crossbones symbols on the ship. If you think that section will bother your daughter, I would recommend visiting one of the five leisure pools throughout the resort instead of the main pool area.

I hope this was helpful, Karen. Please visit us again soon with any new questions you may have!
