Hi. Planning our next trip to WDW for this Christmas. Our daughter has severe nut allergies. On past trips to WDW, we have had to get out of line, miss attractions entirely, etc. because other park patrons are eating nuts in line. Would a GAC help us???

Hi Michelle! I can understand how hard it must be to travel when a member of your family has severe allergies. Disney will do all they can to help those guests whether it is through personal communication with the chefs in each table service restaurant or assisting them in seating to be away from others who might affect them.  If you find that you have had issues with other guests having nuts in line it is best to stop at the Guest Relations in each park and discuss your options with the cast members there. They are trained to know the best solution for each special case and assist you so your day in the park is as magical as possible.

I do suggest you contact Disney special diets at least 14 days before you arrive so you can be assured that your meals will be taken care of with consideration to the allergy you tell them.  You can connect with them via email or by phone.
