I am planning our next trip and thinking about transportation from the Epcot Resorts. If Epcot is not open early in the morning can you still get to the Monorail from the resorts since you have to walk through the park?

Hi Bridget!!!

Thank you so much for your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!! I absolutely love the Epcot Resorts and the proximity and convenience they offer to Epcot.

In order to access the Monorail by walking through Epcot, the theme park must be open. You will not be allowed through the turnstiles into the park until 9:00am (or earlier if there are Extra Magic Hours.)

You will actually find that this is a pretty long walk to get to the Monorail and you will definitely be able to save time by utilizing the Bus Transportation from your Epcot Area Resort Hotel.
