Planning our next trip and thinking about 3 nights at music, then 3 nights at poly. Will it be a hassle to move to a new resort in the middle of our vacation, and will we have to go to MK first and then monorail to poly? How do we book 2 diff resorts?

    Hi Trisha!
It is not really a hassle to move to a different Walt Disney World Resort during your vacation. On my Disney trip with my son, sister, and niece in August 2009, we stayed 3 nights at the Beach Club Resort and then transferred to Pop Century for 6 nights. Disney will transfer your luggage from the first resort that you are staying at to the next one for free. Just take your luggage to bell services the morning that you check out of your first resort and give them your name and the name of where you are transferring to. You can have all your luggage transferred while you go to a Park with only a backpack or small bag and then check into your second Resort after check in time. After you check in to the second resort you can pick up your luggage at that Resort's Bell Services or have them deliver it to your room.

An easy way to get to the Polynesian from All Star Music is to take the Disney Transportation Bus to the Animal Kingdom and then transfer to a Disney Bus going to the Polynesian. There are other ways to get to the Polynesian from All Star Music but this one is the quickest! As far as booking two different resorts, it is the same as booking one resort. You just need to book both separately but make sure that you tell the Cast Member on the reservation line or your travel agent of your plan to transfer to another resort in the middle of your stay at Walt Disney World.

Remember it is easier to go from a Value Resort to a Deluxe Resort than the other way around because you get used to the incredible options and amenities that a Deluxe Resort offers and then feel like you have been downgraded when you arrive at your Value Resort!

I hope that you have a Magical trip and a comfy stay in two great Walt Disney World Resorts!
