    Planning our next trip for Feb. Me, DH and DD it's going to be her 3rd bday! Cant decide between PORS and POFQ. Any opinions?

    Disney's Port Orleans Resorts are both fantastic properties. Conveniently and centrally located, getting to any of the parks from these resorts is a breeze. Add in the fun of a boat to Downtown Disney and you've got a sure fire winner!

    Choosing between the two really depends on what's most important to you. If you'd like to consider a specially themed 'Royal Guest Room' for your Little Princess for her birthday, then definitely go with Port Orleans - Riverside. These rooms are beautifully detailed with Princess touches and even fibre-optic fireworks on your headboards. A stay here is sure to make your birthday girl feel special!

    Over at the French Quarter side of the property, you'll enjoy the quaint surroundings of this small resort. What I enjoy most about it is that it never feels to busy or bustling in the pool or dining areas. It's the first pick up on the bus route and first drop off - which I find to be a great plus with little ones at the end of a long day in the parks! 

    Both resorts feature a pool with water slide and food court. Port Orleans Riverside includes cane pole fishing, a marina, horse drawn carriage rides and surrey bike rentals. It's an easily walkable distance between the two resorts and the extras and amenities are available to guests of both locations.
