Planning next trip Feb/26/12 @ CSR. Confused re where to stay. Initially thought Preferred due to size of resort. But I've read Pref rms r located in Casita's only. Cabanas 9b looks the best. Are Cabana's 9B more expensive than Preferred rms? Thanks!

Hi Lisa! Preferred rooms at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort are located in Casitas Buildings 1, 2, and 3. Take a look at the resort map here. These rooms are generally more expensive than other rooms. However, if I had to recommend a single location at this resort, it would be the Cabanas in Building 9B due to their relative proximity to El Centro, views of the Marina, and relative short walk to the resort's main bus stop. In addition, this location is only a moderate walk to The Dig Site. For Marina and Lago Dorado views, request a Water View Room from any of these room blocks: 9500-9507, 9600-9611, and 9650-9657. For views of the smaller lagoon, 4640-4647 and 9640-9647 are ideal. Please keep in mind that room requests are not guaranteed. However, Cast Members will try to accommodate your preference based on resort occupancy and other factors taking place during your arrival time. Regardless of which room you have, you will thoroughly enjoy staying at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you. Have a memorable visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
