We are planning our next trip to Disney for Dec. 2014. We are considering booking the Very Merry Christmas Party along with the Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party. How far out can I book these two events?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Jaime ~

December is a wonderful month to visit Disney World! The parks and resorts are just beautiful beyond words.

Typically, the tickets for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party go on sale in the spring. Last year, tickets went on sale for the 2013 dates on May 1, 2013. Keep watch on the link above and on the Disney Parks Blog for an announcement. If you're on twitter, be sure to follow @DisneyParks and @WaltDisneyWorld. You can also keep your eyes on the official Walt Disney World Facebook page.

The Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party is a very popular experience and they typically book up fast especially during peak seasons since it is a small venue. I spoke with a super helpful Cast Member again at Disney Dining a few days ago about this experience. They have now starting accepting reservations for the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party 180 days in advance. Keep in mind that the 180 day window booking window for this experience may vary a little. You can make reservations online through the link shown above or by calling 407-WDW-DINE. Personally, I've had more luck when contacting Disney Dining by phone instead of online when trying to book this particular experience.

Please feel free to visit with all of your planning questions. We hEAR to help!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
